All aboard...

Lisa (Gary's wife), Peggy (Gary's business partner/come family friend!), Gary, Christopher and Adam.

Me and my big bro, with sister in law Sue looking on...

My 40th Birthday Surprise!

J organised a limo to take us into London (big surprise!) and then an even bigger surprise was to find Adam, Sue and Christopher waiting in the limo too. So off we all went into London and we ate at the gorgeous "Roof Gardens - Babylon" restaurant in Kensington - this is somewhere I have wanted to go for years! Wonderful food and lots of Champers flowing!
The final surprise was that J had organised a private tour of the rooftop gardens (they are 7 floors up and have been there for 80 years!). They are currently being renovated and will re-open in April. We saw the flemencos, which was breathtaking and it was lovely to finally see that iconic photo from the 60's come to life!... What a magical evening - thank you my lovely man :0) x

No win... no fee...

"Have you had an accident in the last five years, that wasn't your fault?, if so please call injurylines4you!!"

Bono...eat your heart out!

This is Jed wearing his posh hat and sunglasses, that his Auntie Lou Lou gave him for his birthday.
He was trying them on, in preparation for a visit to Grandma in March!

Oh my goodness...

...isn't this the cutest ever snowman!!!!!!
I nearly cried when I saw the final result (must be the hormones!).

It's "SNOW TIME"...

... Jed went mad at the site of all the snow a few weeks ago. We were out in it most days.
Here is Daddy making a snowman with Jed. What a lovely Daddy you are!

Phewww.... all this playing cars has tired me out :0)

All Jed says now is "Play Mummy, play" or "Play Daddy, play". He even says it to the Postman!!!!

Sleepy Daddy's Girl...

J with his favourite little girl!

Lots and lots of fun....

The Birthday Boy - what a cheeky chap!

Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday to me
Happy Birthday dear Jed
Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!!!!

Whooops.... I nearly forgot

Jed had his 2nd birthday (yes, 2nd birthday - can you believe it!!!).
We had a joint party with some of his other little friends and then we had a family bash afterwards and on the Sunday.
Thank you soooo much to Sandy for making Jed the Iggle Piggle and Waka Paka or is it Makka Pakka??? figures.

Me again... taking Minnie Mouse for a ride!

Anya and Celeste

Anya and 'Lest' (as Jed calls her!).

I will just lie here and look pretty!

You can't see from the photo, but her hair is definately growing fast now. Also, just for the record - she has two bottom teeth completely through now and two top teeth broken through, but not fully down yet!
Feb '09' (nearly 9 months!)

Thursday 19 February 2009

Uncle Gary, Auntie Lisa and Cousin Celeste...

...came over from Taiwan to see us a few weeks ago (Feb '09). We have had lots of fun with all the family (apart from Mum of course!).
By the way, in case you are wondering, this is NOT Winnesh...shame really. It is Switzerland (a 5 day trip so that Lisa and Celeste could see snow for the first time).
This is Cousin Becky on the left too...

Sleeping Beauty!!!!!!

My and my little sister...

...I look a little 'spaced out' in this photo and my sister looks none too pleased. I think Mummy had just stopped Dancing for us!!!
Do it again Mummy, as it makes us laugh (and the neighbours).

Hmmmm - my first taste of REAL food (well sort of!)

This is Anya after her first taste of solids (HIPP ORGANIC of course!). As you can see from the smile on her face, she really enjoyed it.
Mummy is dreading the messy stage - everyone keeps telling her she should embrace it, but it ain't gonna happen!!!

Ohhhh... Grandma, you are spoiling me :0)!

This is Jed after receiving a fabulous 'Car' outfit (hat, shorts and top) all the way from Tenerife! He loved it (especially the hat, as you can see!).

Jed's first PROPER birthday party invitation!

Jed was invited to Miles' birthday party - he received a proper invitation and everything!!!!!!!!!!
He loved it and cried when we had to say goodbye to everyone. He is quite the social butterfly.

My favourite photo of Anya so far...

...with those BIG eyes. She was about 7 months here (I think!). Time seems to whizz by.

Jed's favourite activity...

...Jed enjoying a bath (bubbles mandatory!). He always asks for Anya to join him - which is cute.

Chalk and Cheese!

This is Anya with her little friend Eva (about 10 weeks younger than Anya!).
Even though they are like chalk and cheese, hopefully they will be lovely friends as they grow up.
